Chrome Extension Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 2025

This privacy policy describes how the “Jobs in Brussels – EU Bubble Jobs” Chrome extension (“Extension”) handles your information.

Data Collection

The Extension does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. We do not:

  • Collect personal data
  • Track browsing activity
  • Use analytics or tracking tools
  • Share data with third parties

Local Storage

The Extension stores the following data locally on your device using Chrome’s storage API:

  • Job listings: Cached job postings fetched from eububblejobs.com RSS feed
  • Read status: Which job listings you have viewed
  • Last fetch timestamp: When jobs were last refreshed

This data never leaves your device and is only used to display job listings and track which ones you’ve already seen.

Network Requests

The Extension makes requests only to:

  • https://eububblejobs.com/feed/jobs-all/ — to fetch the public RSS feed of job listings

No other network requests are made. No data is sent to any server.

Permissions

The Extension requests these permissions:

  • storage: To save job listings and read status locally
  • alarms: To periodically refresh job listings
  • host_permissions (eububblejobs.com): To fetch the RSS feed

Data Deletion

To delete all stored data, simply uninstall the Extension. All locally stored data will be automatically removed.

Changes

We may update this policy occasionally. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
