Job purpose
You will be responsible for the overall administrative coordination of the Horizon Europe project SCALE-it and provide support in the acquisition of new projects. The objective of SCALE-it is to increase the availability, accessibility and adoption of alternatives to contentious inputs used in organic farming for plant protection, plant nutrition and animal production. The scientific coordination of the project lies with your colleagues in FiBL Switzerland. Depending on the needs, you will provide support in preparing new project applications, or help with Grant Agreement Preparation of acquired projects.
Your role and tasks
Coordination of SCALE-it (80%)

Ensure effective implementation of all project tasks

Ensure effective and smooth internal communication in the project
-
Organise project meetings and outreach events for the project
-
Ensure delivery of deliverables, milestones and technical reports towards the EU’s Research Executive Agency (REA). Provide any required documentation

Provide administrative guidance towards the partners
-
In collaboration with colleagues in Switzerland, manage the overall budget of the project
-
Collect financial reports of partners and ensure correct submission towards REA
-
Occasionally travel to project sites and events outside Belgium
Support to Horizon Europe project applications (20%)

Coordinate the application process in collaboration with colleagues in Switzerland

Complete and ensure correctness of administrative forms

Compile project and partner budgets

Ensure compliance of the project application with call requirements

Help in completing specific parts of the project proposal (e.g. Communication & Dissemination, Work Package descriptions…)

Assist with Grant Agreement Preparation of acquired projects

Master’s degree

Solid experience (4-5 years) in administrative and financial management of projects funded under Horizon 2020 or Horizon Europe
