European Schoolnet (EUN Partnership) is looking for a versatile and creative Communications Coordinator to join the Future Classroom Lab Development and Advocacy department. The position will involve contributing to the development of a communication strategy, preparing concrete communication plans and coordinating communication activities with stakeholders in the field of innovation in education. This position offers a great opportunity to work in an international environment, liaising with colleagues and partners from all over Europe.

Main tasks

  • Contributing to the preparation of a communication strategy and preparing concrete communication plans based on the strategy, liaising closely with other areas of the project (editorial, professional development, networking).

  • Coordinating, monitoring and reporting of communication activities, including social media metrics, message analysis, following media mentions, etc.

  • Contributing to the planning and use of innovative media products (design and messaging) and liaising e.g. with graphical designers and video editors as needed.

  • Coordinating media relations (e.g. establishing and keeping up to date a list of media contacts) and prepare content inputs for media or press releases.

  • Coordinating the production of different videos (promotional and pedagogical) through all stages (ideas, planning, scripting, liaising with the video editor and client, etc.).

  • Coordinating editing and publishing processes of web content, including contributing to editorial planning, scheduling articles for publication, keeping track of publication timelines, etc.

  • Liaising with the internal team, external contributors, stakeholders to ensure engagement.

  • Supporting the quality assurance process (e.g. implementation of the visual identity).

  • Preparing, producing and delivering presentations in meetings with stakeholders and in public events, as needed.

Profile and skills

The candidate should be:

  • Preferably a master’s degree in a relevant subject (like communication studies, media and journalism, public relations and advertising, multimedia, etc.).

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant working experience in similar tasks in the field of communication.

  • Experience with coordination tasks: planning, supervising, delegating, monitoring and reporting.

  • Experience with corporate social media, web 2.0 technologies, and production of different dissemination products (especially videos).

  • An excellent command of English, both spoken and written. Additional languages are an asset.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to details.

  • Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness and determination to overcome issues and seek solutions.

  • A team player with strong interpersonal and intercultural skills to succeed in an international environment.

Useful information

  • Duration of contract: 12-month Limited Duration Contract (CDD) according to Belgian standard conditions (renewable). Full time (38 or 40 hours / week).

  • Starting date: As soon as possible
