Job description:
Coordination and logistical support for the FENS Schools, including liaising with organisers, handling applications, managing communication with participants, and supporting on-site and online delivery
Programme and conference planning for the Brain Conferences
Administrative support for Brain Conferences Committee
Administration of FENS grants and awards, including preparation of calls, coordinating the application and review process, communication with applicants and committees, and final reporting.
The Education and Grants Administrator reports to the Programme Manager
Qualifications and profile

You have impeccable language skills with a fluent command of both spoken and written English.

You are strongly organised, with the ability to prioritise, multitask, and meet deadlines.

You are proactive, resourceful, and solution-oriented, able to take initiative and anticipate needs.

You possess well-developed administrative and computer skills, including excellent knowledge of Microsoft suite (MS office, content management platforms), have experience with Mailmerge and web-based administration.

You have 3–5 years of relevant experience in event, programme, or project administration.

You have experience with virtual or hybrid event organisation (an advantage).

You demonstrate high accuracy, discretion, and reliability in handling data and communications.

You are the holder of a relevant professional or academic bachelor’s degree.

You are legally allowed to work in Belgium.
Location and Salary
This is a full-time (38h/week) position, based at the FENS office in Brussels. The role requires some flexibility regarding working hours and may involve occasional travel within Europe for events.
