European Schoolnet (EUN Partnership) is looking for a dynamic education policy coordinator in the area of education to join its Corporate Affairs department and contribute to advancing innovation in education across Europe.
In this role, you will help position the organisation at the forefront of education policy learning by producing high-quality content, engaging with influential stakeholders, and monitoring key education policy developments. You will combine editorial excellence with advocacy insight to turn technical information into compelling messages that resonate with decision-makers and the wider education community.
## Main tasks
– Coordinate the production, editing, and quality assurance of high-level publications in the area of education (policy briefs, position papers, reports, presentations).
– Ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with organisational messaging and standards.
– Write and edit engaging content (articles, newsletters, press materials).
– Translate complex education policy content into accessible, audience-appropriate language.
– Build and maintain relationships with key education organisations, policymakers (e.g. EU institutions, national authorities), and other stakeholders.
– Contribute to advocacy initiatives promoting shared strategic goals.
– Represent the organisation at meetings, conferences, and public events.
– Track legislative and regulatory developments related to innovation and education.
– Conduct research and analyse data to support evidence-based advocacy outputs in education.
– Inform leadership and members about education policy developments and potential implications.
## Profile and skills
The candidate should be:
– A bachelor’s degree in communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Political Science, or related field.
– A minimum of **5 years** of experience in communications, public relations, and/or advocacy. Experience within NGOs or international organizations is an asset.
– **Native-level proficiency in English**, with excellent writing and editing skills, as well as public speaking and presentation skills.
– **Knowledge of education systems** at national level and knowledge of European policies in education and training.
– Experience using **content management systems (CMS) and digital publishing tools** is desirable.
– Ability to **translate complex policy** issues into compelling communication outputs.
– **Strong analytical skills** and data interpretation capabilities.
– Ability to **work independently and in an organized manner** with the capacity to manage multiple deadlines.
– **Proactive attitude** toward identifying opportunities for influence.
– **Proven evidence of previous experience** in a similar role (share a portfolio with evidence of experience in the required responsibilities in your application).
## Useful information
– **Duration of contract:** 12-month Limited Duration Contract (CDD) according to Belgian standard conditions (renewable). Full time (38 or 40 hours / week).
– **Starting date:** As soon as possible
