About the AI-Data-Robotics Association (Adra)
The vision of the European Partnership on AI, Data and Robotics (ADR) is to boost European competitiveness, societal well-being, and environmental aspects to lead the world in researching, developing, and deploying value-driven trustworthy ADR-based on fundamental European rights, principles, and values.
Adra presents the contractual counterpart to the European Commission for the implementation of the ADR co-programmed partnership. Adra’s principal goal is to develop and implement a strategy and roadmap for research, technological development and uptake, to create an innovation ecosystem for strong European leadership in ADR, and for delivering maximum economic and societal benefit to its citizens and businesses.

We are seeking a talented campaigns and events manager to contribute to our development.
About You
The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in leading and managing several European projects within the ADR Association. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of projects from kick-off through to completion, ensuring that objectives are met within scope, time, quality and budget constraints. This role will involve working with the Secretary General on strategic planning, coordinating across the whole Adra team, resource management, and stakeholder communication.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple European-funded projects (Horizon Europe and Digital Europe), ensuring alignment with the association’s goals and objectives. Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met.

Coordinate with cross-functional, international teams to ensure efficient project execution and smooth communication.

Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure successful delivery.

Manage resources effectively, external vendors, and work with the operations team to oversee budgets.

Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues promptly to minimize disruptions. Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency.

Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Report on project status to senior leadership and stakeholders. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including status reports, meeting notes, and lessons learned.

Use project management tools (e.g., Teams Planner, Jira, Trello, MS Project, Asana) to track progress and performance metrics.

Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and results-driven project environment.

Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation and deliverables.

Evaluate project outcomes to determine if goals were achieved and learn from project experiences.
Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Strong understanding of project management methodologies.
-
Proven track record of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.

Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
-
Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing project needs.

Proficiency with project management software.
-
PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant certification.

Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).

Familiarity with industry-specific tools or software.

Fluent level of English.

A keen interest/and or understanding of ADR Technology and of the EU (European Union) institutions and processes.

Strong communication, interpersonal and team working skills.

4-7 years of experience in Project Management, preferably in EU-funded projects (Horizon Europe, Digital Europe).

Knowledge of strategic project planning and EU funding programs.
