## WE ARE
The Joint Research Centre (JRC) provides independent, evidence-based knowledge and science, supporting EU policies to positively impact society.
The current vacancy is with the Euratom Coordination Unit of the Directorate for Nuclear Safety and Security. The mission of the Unit is to coordinate the activities of the JRC Euratom Research and Training programme and facilitate the cooperation with EU services, EU Member States and other European and international stakeholders. In addition, the Unit supports the integrated nuclear communication, knowledge management and foresight for the JRC nuclear programmes, including the Decommissioning and Waste Management programme.
This is a project manager position for the coordination of JRC’s work in the EU CBRN Centres of Excellence initiative under the NDICI, as well as to support the corporate activities of the JRC in the field of security and safeguards.

## WE PROPOSE
The jobholder shall support the Unit in all activities concerning the coordination, planning and monitoring of the JRC’s work on the EU CBRN Centres of Excellence, as well as support the corporate activities of the JRC in the field of security and safeguards. Main tasks include: project management, internal management and coordination, inter-institutional relations, and selected international relations.
## WE LOOK FOR
We are looking for a project manager with at least 3 years of experience in international project management (essential) and previous experience in chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear security and safeguards (desirable).
We look for a candidate with excellent English skills, level C1 (essential) and working level French skills, level B1 (desirable).
The job holder will be required to obtain a security clearance.
