Public Relations and Fundraising Assistant (intern)

Job description
This is an exciting opportunity for a young professional to gain hands-on experience in media, EU affairs, communications, and project support. You will work closely with the organisation’s leadership to enhance productivity, visibility, and impact across EU projects, philanthropy, and public-private partnerships.
Main tasks will include

Assist in the preparation of presentations, proposals, and public relations materials

Conduct background research to expand partnerships and fundraising activities

Maintain databases, update contact lists, and support CRM systems

Help coordinate the organisation’s presence at external events and conferences
-
Provide logistical and administrative support for travel, meetings, and events
-
Assist the Partnership Director in coordinating ongoing projects
Profile
-
Master’s Degree in Business, European Studies, Political Science, Communications

Strong interest in EU affairs, fundraising, and communications
-
Already some experience in Brussels EU bubble (recent graduate with no Brussels experience need not apply)

Excellent command of written and spoken English, knowledge of French or Eastern European language is a plus

Organised, detail-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines

Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small, agile team

Proactive and solution-oriented mindset

Strong IT skills, especially with MS Office, Google Workspace, and digital collaboration tools
