We are seeking a Video Editor (f/m/d) for our DW Brussels Studio in Belgium as of 1 March 2026 or as soon as possible on the basis of a full-time local staff employment contract limited for two years.
Your challenges
-
editing and final production of reels and videos for DW social media platforms, as well as news, reports, and features for DW TV programming
-
coordination of video production in close cooperation with the team of producers and correspondents of the studio in Brussels

filming and editing of film and video material
-
post-production with DW graphics (subtitles, story text etc.)

creative visual implementation of political topics with graphics and animation
-
compiling of video material for DW’s web and social media platforms
Your qualifications
-
vocational training in a relevant field or equivalent qualification
-
experience as cutter and video editor for wide and vertical formats, direction
-
confident working with Premiere Pro and Avid; proficient in audio recording
-
strong visual storytelling skills
-
excellent planning and organizational skills with a proactive and pragmatic approach

professional language proficiency in English required, knowledge of French or Dutch desirable, German an advantage

ability to work in interdisciplinary and diverse teams, high level of intercultural sensitivity and respect for diversity
