The current vacancy is with Unit Digital Systems for Safeguards and Non-Proliferation of the Directorate for Nuclear Safety and Security: The Unit is the major host of JRC’s nuclear safeguards, non-proliferation and security activities not involving nuclear materials.
The candidate will participate in a small team developing algorithms and systems to support nuclear inspectors in Europe and worldwide. The systems, based primarily on optical sensors, will assist the inspectors to perform monitoring and verification of nuclear facilities.
