The current vacancy is with the Directorate for Energy, Mobility and Climate, specifically, in the Sustainable, Smart and Safe Mobility Unit .
The Unit is supporting the European Commission in assessing the role of Research and Innovation in the EU transport sector. Specifically, we aim to play a key role in proving scientific insight in supporting the development of future Research and Innovation Framework Programs.
The job holder will work for the project “Innovation for Multimodal Transport” (INNOTRA). The project contributes to the ambitious goal of mobility decarbonisation and digitalisation. The INNOTRA project will support the achievement of EU Climate and Green Deal targets for transport and mobility, energy efficiency and climate action. By providing scientific knowledge, models and analysis of transport the JRC aims to contribute to enhancing the competitiveness of the EU transport system and supporting the EU sustainable prosperity.
