Qualifications & Requirements
• University degree or equivalent with prior relevant experience in EU public affairs – counting traineeship(s) - allowing you to “hit the ground running” in Brussels.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English. Any additional European language will be considered as a plus.
• Knowledge of EU decision-making processes and the political and regulatory landscape within the
EU.
• A strong interest in sustainable finance, public and/or private finance with the willingness and interest to work on a range of other topics.
• Highly proactive in translating policy intelligence into actionable recommendations for our frontrunner clients.

Your Role and Key Responsibilities
• Be the direct point of contact for clients, including managing client calls.
• Understand what the client needs and translate this into unique narratives for existing and new EU policy files (see here for more details).
• Develop a good knowledge of current developments and how they affect your clients’ business.
• Help the other consultants in your team manage client work.
• Devise PA outreach strategies on European policies related to environment and climate.
• Attend meetings with policymakers and other key stakeholders.
• Provide supporting analysis for the drafting of position papers, briefings, speeches and presentations for sustainable frontrunner clients.
• Establish a strong network with policymakers, industry/trade associations, media, and others to raise the profile of clients’ issues and solutions.
• Think outside of the box and propose creative solutions to ensure client objectives are reached.
