You will primarily (75%) support EFBWW work in the field of fair labour mobility, one of EFBWW’s key priorities. You will further develop the ECMIN website (www.constructionworkers.eu) and support capacity building of EFBWW affiliates in Central and Eastern Europe.
You will support the organisation of the next EFBWW Congress (25%) that will take place in France, in 2028, and will contribute to making the most important event in the democratic life of EFBWW a success.
You are a team player and will carry out tasks in close collaboration with the Communication officer and other EFBWW colleagues, reporting to the General Secretary.
Tasks
- Follow-up ECMIN project (www.constructionworkers.eu): administration, logistical, political and communication.
- Investigate funding opportunities to support networking between trade unions and relevant stakeholders in sending and receiving countries within and outside the EU.
- Prepare first steps towards an EFBWW alert mechanism for mobile construction workers in distress.
- Investigate funding opportunities to support EFBWW’s ongoing capacity building efforts in the CEE region, including accession countries.
- Support the organization of the next EFBWW Congress (France, 2028) and coordinate activities and events related to ‘70 years EFBWW’.
- Support EFBWW campaigns and policy initiatives in the field of fair labour mobility, particularly the Subcontracting campaign.
Your profile
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree
- Committed to social justice and support for trade unions
- Fluent in English
- Good knowledge of EU institutions
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- (proven) Experience in project application and project management
- Creative and dynamic
- Good communication and networking skills
- High level of initiative and independence while being a team player
- IT Skills: Proficient in MS Office
- Travel: Willingness and availability to travel.
