The European Judicial Training Network (EJTN) is a membership-based association that has been promoting excellence in judicial training for 25 years. Our members and associate members are judicial training institutions from all European Union Member States, as well as the Academy of European Law.

Our vision is to foster mutual trust among justice practitioners across the EU and to contribute to the development of a common European legal and judicial culture. We pursue this vision by providing networking opportunities for our members, associate members, observers, and partners, and by offering tailored training to the 400,000 judges, prosecutors, court staff, and judicial trainers across the EU.

## Your job in a nutshell…

As Project Assistant for the Strategic Coordination, Digitalisation and Outreach Unit, you will provide administrative support to the Head of Unit in the preparation of Steering Committee meetings, conferences, and internal activities.

In this role, you will report to the Head of the Strategic Coordination, Digitalisation and Outreach Unit.

## Your key responsibilities

– You will help prepare the monthly Steering Committee meetings;
– You will help organise the annual Training Needs Assessment meeting, General Assembly, and Conference of Directors, together with the Assistant to the Secretary General and your Head of Unit;
– You will assist with organising Working Group Digitalisation meetings, including preparing documentation, agendas, and minutes;
– You will liaise with participants in the above events to provide information and support (e.g. allocation, logistics, reimbursement), as well as with the EJTN finance team to follow up on reimbursements (e.g. preparing reimbursement tables);
– You will draft various documents, such as invitation letters and meeting minutes, as requested;
– You will review and proofread documents to ensure quality and accuracy;
– You will help prepare surveys and collect data for analysis;
– You will help compile statistics on participation in EJTN activities;
– You will provide administrative support for the Unit’s hybrid meetings, events, and webinars;
– You will welcome visitors and set up meeting rooms when needed;
– You will provide backup support to the Assistant to the Secretary General with travel arrangements and related tasks;
– You will carry out any additional tasks within your skills or expertise as assigned by your Head of Unit or the Secretary General.

## Desired competencies and experience

– You have a first experience in administrative support within an international environment;
– You hold a degree in administration, secretarial studies, or a related field, although this is not mandatory;
– You have a genuine interest in EJTN’s mission;
– You enjoy administrative tasks and take pride in delivering high-quality work that your colleagues can rely on;
– You have strong attention to detail;
– You have impeccable ethics;
– You are dynamic, proactive, and results-oriented;
– You have excellent organisational and planning skills, with a keen eye for detail;
– You are service-oriented and solution-focused;
– You are proficient in the MS Office suite;
– You have excellent command of English, both verbal and written, as well as a very good working knowledge of French;
– Above all, you are a true team player with a friendly and positive personality.

## Location & travel

This position is based in Brussels. Limited travel may be required.
