Digital Content Coordinator

European Schoolnet (EUN Partnership) is looking for an enthusiastic colleague with coordination, content creation, and web editing skills. The successful candidate will be working in a team responsible for coordinating and running the European School Education Platform, a multilingual platform with diverse content, targeted to teachers and educators across Europe. The position offers a great opportunity to work in an international environment and closely with topics related to teaching and learning in a digitalised world.

Main tasks

  • Coordinating editing and publishing processes of web content, including contributing to the editorial planning, scheduling articles for publication, keeping track of publication timelines, etc.

  • Selecting, writing, and publishing content for the platform, including proofreading, copy-editing (content created by others), web editing, and application of digital assets.

  • Liaising with the internal editorial team, external contributors, and other colleagues, e.g., video producers, communication officers, and translation coordinators, and the external clients.

  • Coordinating small video productions on educational topics, e.g., school-based initiatives.

  • Applying and developing the platform’s style guidelines (writing) and technical guidelines (web editing) and generally contributing to the high quality of the platform services.

  • Other relevant tasks, e.g., handling user suggestions.

Profile and skills

The candidate should be:

  • A higher education degree (of minimum 3 years) in the communication or journalism field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in coordination, writing, and editing digital content, web editing (incl. HTML), and publishing via content management systems.

  • Experience with video, digital assets, and online tools for curation, creation, and collaboration.

  • Native level or equivalent English language, both spoken and written. Additional languages are an asset.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to learn fast and deliver quality results while respecting deadlines.

  • Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness and determination to overcome issues and seek solutions.

  • A team player with strong interpersonal and intercultural skills to succeed in an international environment.

Useful information

  • Duration of contract: 12-month Limited Duration Contract (CDD) according to Belgian standard conditions (renewable). Full time (38 or 40 hours / week).

  • Starting date: As early as August 2025.

  • Deadline for applications: Until the position is filled.

  • Location: European Schoolnet, Rue de Treves, 61, Brussels, Belgium. The position requires living in Belgium.
