## 1. JOB PURPOSE
Within this internship, the successful candidate will support the finance team and IPPF EN departments teams by providing support with reporting, analysis, grant management, budgeting and reforecasting as well as on payroll and timesheets verification.
## 2. KEY TASKS
– Support finance colleagues and project managers on grant reporting and regular monitoring
– Support budgets tracking, quarterly reforecast and financial reporting
– Support data introduction into the IPPF budgeting system (Vena)
– Support with financial reconciliations and audits
– Support with maintaining internal databases and filing systems
– Support the implementation of internal processes and policies
– Support payroll preparation and leave tracking
– Support monthly timesheets tracking and checkingPrepare journal entries and raise purchase orders in the ERP system when required
– To perform other duties as agreed with the supervisor
## 3. QUALIFICATION & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
– Graduate in field of Finance, Business Administration and/or Accounting
– Excellent computer skills: MS Office 365, including advanced Excel skills
– Familiarity with ERP accounting software is a plus
– Some experience in finance and administration, ideally within a not-for-profit organisation (through studies, volunteering, or previous work experience)
## 4. SKILLS & PERSONAL COMPETENCES
– Fluent in English (written and spoken), French is an asset
– Demonstrate interest in finance, accounting, operations, ideally within an NGO or nonprofit setting
– Good problem-solving and proactive skills with a track record of raising issues in a constructive way, with a team player mindset
– Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in line with priorities and timelines set by the Head of Finance & Corporate Services
– Excellent organizational skills and attention to details
– Strong interpersonal skills and able to work in a multicultural environment
– Open minded, empathic and flexible
