European Schoolnet (EUN Partnership) is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented project intern to joinits Digital Citizenship team. The intern will contribute to projects addressing online hate speech,cyberbullying, Social and Emotional Learning, and digital well-being in education at both national andEuropean levels.

More specifically, the intern will have the opportunity to work on LoudnClear and CyberKind projects andthese activities will enable her/him to gain practical experience in the field of European projects, research,stakeholder engagement, and educational resource development.

## Main tasks

This list is for indicative purposes only. It will be adapted to meet the priorities of the organisation and inresponse to skills demonstrated by the trainee.

The successful candidate will work closely to the project coordinator and will assist her in:

– Support overall project coordination and administrative tasks, including document drafting andcontribution to project deliverables
– Support the conduction structured desk research to map projects, tools, and practices addressingonline hate speech in educational contexts at national and EU level
– Maintain a shared database of good practices, and support the screening, pre-selection, andpreliminary analysis of identified existing practices and initiatives (strengths, limitations, transferabilityto primary education)
– Assist in the organisation, documentation, and analysis of multi-stakeholder consultations (youth,teachers, parents, etc.), including feedback collection and synthesis
– Contribute to the development of educational resources within the CyberKind project, includingLearning Programme materials to foster Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) in schools, andguidelines for schools and teachers on cyberbullying prevention and intervention

## Profile and skills

– At least a bachelor’s degree in science education, Public Policy or related field linked to theeducation sector
– A strong interest in topics related to digital citizenship, online safety, media literacy, and educationpolicy
– An experience in, or a good understanding of European environment is an asset
– Very good spoken and written English. Additional language can be an asset
– Strong writing and synthesis abilities
– Attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to work both independently and witha team
– Ability to learn quickly and deliver quality results while respecting deadlines
– A team player with strong interpersonal and intercultural skills to succeed in an internationalenvironment
– A good command of MS Office tools

## Useful information

– Duration of contract: 6 months’ internship starting from the beginning of September 2026. This is afull-time position.
– Deadline for applications: The 20 of May at 17:00 CEST.
– Benefits: A stipend of 1100 €/month net for the duration of the internship; hybrid position: remoteworking from the Belgian residence up to three days per week allowed; up to 10 days remoteworking from outside Belgium during the internship.
– Location: European Schoolnet, Rue de Treves, 61, Brussels, Belgium. The trainee will have to bedomiciled in Belgium during the traineeship.
